Import Coordinator

Are you interested in working in the Import and Logistics field?   Bruder Toys America Inc. is looking for an experienced person to coordinate the logistics and importation of our Bruder Products into North America. This is an excellent opportunity for applicants with logistics experience. Applicants should have excellent written and oral communication skills, in addition to being highly organized, motivated, and detail-oriented.

 

 

Your Tasks:

  • Manages the import, and transportation and purchases of foreign goods.
  • Responsible for following standard operating procedures to comply with federal regulations.
  • Resolve any freight problems that may arise.

Responsibilities also include:

  • Taking orders over the phone
  • Processing and tracking  orders
  • Resolving key account import customer problems
  • Answering customer emails
  • Putting key account import  orders into accounting software
  • Be available occasianally on off  hours to handle time zone shipping problems
  • Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures.
  • Bruder will Rely on your experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
  • Performs a variety of tasks.
  • May lead and direct the work of others.
  • A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected.
  • Will add on tasks as needed or requested by supervisor.
  • Typically reports to a head of a unit/department.

Should have  a bachelor's degree in  area of specialty and at least 5 years of experience in the field or in a related area. ( Pay scale is based on this)

Requirements:

  • Must be experienced in Microsoft Windows, Excel
  • Must be organized, neat and detail-oriented
  • A friendly, articulate voice for dealing with customers over the phone
  • Experience in sales a plus

Compensation:

  • $20.00-$25.00/hr depending on experience
