Customer Service/Retail Sales Position (Hawthorne CA)

Do you think it would be fun to work with toys all day? And get paid for it? Bruder Toys America Inc. is looking for an energetic person to work at our retail shop. This is an excellent opportunity for applicants with retail experience. Applicants should be well-spoken, with excellent written and oral communication skills, in addition to being highly organized, motivated and detail-oriented.

This person should like to interact with children and their parents. This person will also be showing parents and their children the functions of our toys as well as helping them select the right toy for their child.  The position also includes ringing up the sale of the toy.

Responsibilities also include:

  • Taking orders over the phone
  • Processing and tracking internet  orders
  • Resolving customer problems
  • Updating website with content and inventory
  • Answering customer emails
  • Printing and filing hard copies
  • Importing orders into accounting software
  • Process and mail catalog requests
  • Restock and display toys
  • Keep retail area neat and organized


  • Must be experienced in Microsoft Windows, Excel
  • Must be organized, neat and detail-oriented
  • A friendly, articulate voice for dealing with customers over the phone
  • Experience in sales a plus
  • Experience with toys a plus
